Biography

Bogna Kicinska – jazz vocalist, composer and educator born in small town Krasnystaw In Poland where she did her 2nd degree on violin. She graduated from Karol Szymanowski School of Music in Katowice (Poland), Henryk Majewski Jazz Training College in Warsaw (Poland) and Aaron Copland School of Music in New York. She was a prize-winner of many competitions, e.g.: International Festival of Traditional Jazz – Old Jazz Meeting “Gold Grater” – Ilawa (Poland), International Jazz Competition for Singing Musicians “Voicingers” in Zory (Poland), “Hope of Warsaw”. She writes her own compositions and arrangements. Bogna performed in many European countries and U.S. She just recorded her debut album which will be released soon.
